St. Cuthbert's Centre, Copnor

A warm welcome to St. Cuthbert's Centre, in the Baffins area of Portsmouth.

The centre was formed within a very large church building, which was hardly used except on Sundays. Since its reorganisation, it is used daily by members of the local community and local organisations.

The centre, although not completely finished, is spread over four floors, made up of:

  • Seven community rooms of different sizes
  • The Corner Pre-School
  • The Baffins Surgery
  • A community cafe to be built in the future
  • St. Cuthbert's church, place of worship, to be completed in the future.
  • a large area on the first floor, as yet, undeveloped.

There is a lift to all floors with toilets (including disabled) on the ground and second floors. Baby changing facilities are available on the second floor.

The reception desk is open every Tuesday and Thursday between 9.00 and 12 noon, for information about activities, hiring one of the many rooms in the Centre or a guided tour.

.
